We, at Guru Charitable Trust, believe in the Ubuntu philosophy:

"I am because we are".

 

Since 2015, Guru Trust has been actively working in Vadodara region. We have started various activities and donation drives as part of the #SpreadSmile campaign by visiting random interior small villages.

The goal of the #SpreadSmile campaign is to ensure that - a child enjoys the best of childhood.

 

During our brainstorming sessions we always end up asking a single and simple question,

"What does a child want?"

The only answer that clicked was "to play."

 

We have started spending time with needy kids by sharing toys, sharing snacks with fun games, providing firecrackers during Diwali, and kites during the kite flying festival.

 

Later, at the current stage, we have actively involved ourselves in providing backbone support for tribal children, who are staying and studying at Ashram Shala, Halol.

 

Current focus is to provide them the normal environment to play and study to cope up with the current world.

Focusing area of the trust is children's education and personal development.

However, our NGO is willing to actively get involved in the areas of environmental safety, women's empowerment, and any program related to education.
